Turbocompressor

The turbine of a turbocompressor (2) is put in action by pressure of the following exhaust gases. The bladed wheel (1) on the party of absorption is set in motion by the passing shaft with a big frequency of rotation at the expense of what the soaked-up air can be condensed. Much more air, providing the increased power or higher torque comes to combustion chambers. As soon as pressure in a chamber of absorption becomes higher necessary, the vacuum box of adjustment (3) pressure of pressurization opens bypass the channel and passes part of exhaust gases by a turbocompressor in system of an exhaust. The electromagnetic valve of adjustment of pressure of pressurization for taking note of heights on pressurization pressure is built in the operating tube (4).

If Audi Turbo develops much the lowered power or the maximum speed is not reached, the reason can be in a faulty turbocompressor.

Before search of malfunctions it is necessary to be convinced that the engine and system of injection of serviceability.

A. Details of system of an exhaust and a turbo-supercharging are not tight

1. The air hose between the compressor and an inlet collector over a radiator of nadduvochny air is not tight or was disconnected
2. The site between an inlet collector and a head of the block of cylinders is not tight
3. Flanges at an inlet collector are not tight
4. Not tight site between a final collector and a head of the block of cylinders or a turbocompressor
B. The turbocompressor is faulty 1. Check pressurization pressure. If it too high:
check the electromagnetic valve of restriction of pressure of pressurization, check a vacuum box of the valve of adjustment of pressure of pressurization. If that and another in working order, conduct survey of a memory of malfunctions in the car
2. Pressurization pressure the too low:
check a vacuum box of restriction of pressure of pressurization. If it is serviceable, replace a turbocompressor
