In Germany in cars with the adjusted catalytic converter the first verification of the content of exhaust gases in three years after date of the first admission is offered and then every two years, thus also installation of ignition and efficiency of the catalytic converter is checked. If the separate set sizes are not reached, there is no confirmation of the passable check. Before replacing expensive knot after not passable check of composition of exhaust gases, repeat check in other workshop.
